For many families, roadschooling has never been a serious option for learning – until now. As many families gear up for another year of school and face all the unknowns that come with the COVID-19 pandemic (social-distancing, online school effectiveness, etc.), it’s the perfect time to consider alternative options. This fall, switch it up for a fun and interactive learning experience at Jellystone Park™! With dedicated outdoor study spaces, free Wi-Fi, and after school activities, it’s the ideal spot to spend your new school year. Keep reading for more details on your roadschooling destination!

Roadschooling Study Spaces

Study Spaces

Homework will be fun when you set up “camp” at one of our outdoor study spaces for the afternoon!  Kids and adults, alike, can find inspiration in the fresh air, as they get to work in the great outdoors.  Look for Study Zone signage and make a picnic table your classroom for the day!

Free Wi-Fi

Whether the kids are looking up lesson plans or parents need to check work emails, our Wi-Fi is free to use throughout the Camp-Resort.

*Signal strength varies throughout the park.  We recommend connecting near the Ranger Station or in dedicated Study Zone areas, where the signal can be more reliable.

After School Activities

The best part about Jellystone Park™ being your new roadschooling destination is all the fun activities that are available after the studying is over! Splash the afternoon away in our pools, or spend your recess time in our lazy river (our pool and lazy river will be open daily through the end of September), take advantage of our version of gym class by challenging friends to a game of mini golf, or just paddle around the lake!  Check out unique activities like Gem Mining too!

Starting September 8th, stop by our Pavilion for a variety of educational activities, arts and crafts, and more on Tuesdays and Thursdays! Who knows? You may even experience a bear sighting or two!  View the most current after school activities and events here.
