How far in advance should I make my reservation?
We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of desired arrival date, as our Camp-Resort will fill up quickly! We book reservations up to 364 days in advance, so you can even re-book your stay for 2020 at checkout.
Can I tour the park?
We are happy to show off the Camp-Resort and we do allow walking tours. However, we cannot allow tours on holidays or busy weekends. Please call ahead, we would hate for you to waste a drive.
Is early access available?
Early access is available starting at 11am and will result in additional fees. Access to the Camp-Resort is considered early arrival regardless if site is ready or not. Based on availability – some days early access may not be permitted.
Will my reservation guarantee a specific campsite or cabin assignment?
We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin location by paying our applicable locking fee. If you opt out of the locking fee, you are guaranteed your selected site or cabin TYPE, but not specific unit number.

Jellystone Park™ gift cards are applicable toward reservations only. They may not be used toward day camp passes or any on-site amenities, camp store products, etc.

Almost all our activities are included. Gem mining, lazer tag and water rentals have their own costs, however.
Can I bring my pet with me?
Yes! Pets are allowed at our RV sites, but not in our playgrounds, restrooms, or other buildings. Select cabins are pet-friendly for a nightly fee. In cabins there’s a $40 fee for one pet and $60 fee for two pets. Guests or visitors may not bring pets with them. If they arrive with a pet, they may not be permitted to enter the Camp-Resort. Pet owners are required to bring a crate(s) for their pets and are responsible for noise control and clean up. Pets may not be left unattended outside. Hostile or disruptive dogs will be asked to be removed from the park.
We do! Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am Sunday through Thursday and 11pm to 8am Friday and Saturday. Any person under 18 years of age must be at their site or cabin during these hours, unless accompanied by an adult.
Can my friends come and visit?
Visitors currently not permitted due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Guests must pay a guest fee and the number of people per site cannot exceed 8. Check out our guest fees here. Please note that your guests may not bring pets with them. If your guest arrives with a pet, they may not be permitted to enter the Camp-Resort.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
They are, but the beverage must be held in an unmarked container or koozie. This is a family friendly Camp-Resort, so please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language.
Are fireworks allowed?
No, fireworks are not allowed in Jellystone Park™.
Do you allow inflatables in your pool?
Yes. We allow small inner tubes, pool noodles, diving rings, and beach balls. No body floats.
Am I able to store my trailer at your park?
Yes. For more information please contact the Marina and visit their website.
What is the speed limit?
Because the Camp-Resort is full of active families with children, the speed limit throughout the Camp-Resort is 5MPH and is strictly enforced for your safety. We realize that this is ridiculous. If you do not feel that you are driving ridiculously slow, then you are driving too fast.
Can I bring my own golf cart, motorized scooter, or ATV to the Camp-Resort?
For safety and liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized vehicles into Jellystone Park™. While we do not like to be the fun police, guests found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave without a refund. For your convenience, we do offer golf cart rentals that allow accessing our Camp-Resort easy…and fun!
Can I smoke at the park?
Since we are a family friendly Camp-Resort, smoking, including vaping, of any kind is prohibited in all common and indoor areas. Smoking inside the pool area will result in lost privileges of that amenity. Smoking is not permitted inside cabins and will result in a hefty fine if found in violation.
You are permitted to smoke tobacco products at your campsite as long as you are doing so in a manner that is not disturbing to other campers.
Smoking of any substances other than tobacco will not be tolerated under any circumstances. If we, in our sole judgment, believe that you or your guests is smoking a substance other than tobacco, you may be asked to leave the Camp-Resort without a refund.
Are campfires allowed?
You bet, unless when we are under a Burn Ban, so be sure to ask the Ranger Station at check-in. We ask that campfires be confined to designated hours and are not left unattended. We do not permit outside firewood being brought into our park or the cutting of any of our trees or brush. Firewood is available for purchase and delivery at our Ranger Station.
Where can I find information about themed weeks and weekends at the park?
Good question! You may find a list of our upcoming themed weeks and weekends here.
Do you offer seasonal sites?
Yes, we do. Please enquire at the Registration Station or call 209-369-1041 for additional information.
When is the cheapest time to stay?
Our rates depend on when you’d like to stay and what amenities are available during your dates. Shoulder season is cheaper than prime season, and weekdays are cheaper than weekends. However, please be sure to check amenity availability before booking.
