With so many new people visiting Jellystone Park™ Tower Park this year, including folks who are camping for the first time ever, we thought we’d answer some common questions! So whether you’re a camping novice or long time Jellystone Park™ enthusiast, we’ve got answers!
Is the water zone included in my stay?
Absolutely! Every guest on your reservation will receive a wristband, which is your ticket to fun throughout the entirety of your stay! Zip down our water slides, float in our lazy river and splash in our two pools. Don’t forget to add a private cabana to your reservation as well. You’ll have it made in the shade when you have the convenience and comfort of a mini fridge, TV, and your own patio furniture to relax in between trips around the lazy river.
What should I take with me?
If you’re staying in one of our cabins, you can rent linens from us, but if you’re bringing your own, make sure to pack bed sheets and bath towels. You’ll also get to enjoy your own charcoal grill, so pack up your grilling tools and favorite cookout ingredients! You can find a full list of all supplies and cookware that are included in your cabin rental when you view your cabin type here. But don’t stress— if you’ve forgotten something, you can also stock-up on ice and other essentials at our Ranger Station!
Other items to bring:
-Card & board games
-Umbrellas in case it rains
-Bug spray & sunscreen
-Marshmallow roasters & s’more ingredients
Which season is best for camping?
Our most popular time of the year is summer when our water zone is open and in full effect. Spring camping is great for families who want to reconnect with nature and enjoy a quieter, less crowded park. During the fall, we have lots of fun themed weekends planned including Halloween weekends all throughout the month of October! Tried and true campers know that there is something truly special about fall camping, plus you can take advantage of our non-peak deals!
What is there to do in the area?
While we’ve got tons of fun inside the park, there’s also a lot to explore in the area! Explore the Delta when you add a boat rental to your reservation, or go wine tasting in nearby wine country, or check out wildlife in the area when you visit the Isenberg Crane Reserve. See all of our nearby attractions on our Places to Go page!
